The Blue Mountains, Australia
C’est enfin le weekend ! Nous pouvons enfin passer une journée complète avec Josh et Minty 😀 et toujours accompagnés par Nolwenn et Yannick pour leur dernier jour en Australie avant leur grand départ vers l’Amérique du Sud !
En bons amateurs de nature, nous décidons rapidement d’aller faire une petite marche dans les environs. Et plus précisément dans les fameuses Blue Mountains qui tirent leur nom de la teinte bleutée de l’air due à des sécrétions des nombreux eucalyptus qui y poussent.
Nous suivons alors le Grand Canyon Walking Track qui descend rapidement au fond d’un grand et étroit canyon rempli de végétation verdoyante avant de remonter progressivement jusqu’au bord de la falaise. Le paysage est à couper le souffle, chaque pas révélant la beauté brute de la nature qui nous entoure.
Nous changeons ensuite rapidement de lieu pour aller jeter un oeil à un autre monument naturel emblématique : les Three Sisters. C’est une formation rocheuse composée de trois colonnes naturelles avec en arrière plan un autre vaste canyon verdoyant.
Finally, the weekend has arrived! It’s time to spend a full day with Josh and Minty :D, and still accompanied by Nolwenn and Yannick for their last day in Australia before their grand journey to South America!
As nature enthusiasts, we quickly decide to embark on a little adventure in the surroundings. Specifically, we set our sights on the famous Blue Mountains, named for the bluish hue of the air caused by the emissions of the numerous eucalyptus trees that flourish there.
We opt for the Grand Canyon Walking Track, which swiftly descends into a vast and narrow canyon filled with lush greenery before gradually ascending to the cliff’s edge. The scenery is breathtaking, with each step revealing the raw beauty of nature surrounding us.
Next, we swiftly move to another iconic natural landmark: the Three Sisters. This rock formation consists of three towering columns set against the backdrop of yet another expansive green canyon.
