Avec la voiture enfin réparée, nous filons vers Dunedin et la Otago Peninsula sur la côte est de l’île. Sur place, nous allons nous balader dans le jardin botanique de la ville pour nous occuper quelques heures avant de reprendre la route jusqu’au bout de la péninsule.
En effet, ce soir au coucher du soleil, nous allons voir les adorables Blue Penguins rentrer de la chasse sur une petite plage protégée. La sortie guidée est organisée par le Royal Albatross Centre qui, en plus de nous présenter en détail ces petites créatures, nous raconte en surface l’histoire du pays. Vraiment super intéressant ! Et les pingouins sont vraiment trop mignons 😍
With the car finally repaired, we head for Dunedin and the Otago Peninsula on the east coast of the island. On site, we stroll through the city’s botanical garden to occupy ourselves for a few hours before heading to the far end of the peninsula.
Indeed, this evening at sunset, we will see the adorable Blue Penguins returning from hunting on a small protected beach. The guided outing is organized by the Royal Albatross Centre which, in addition to presenting us in detail with these little creatures, teaches us briefly the history of the country. Really very interesting! And the penguins are honestly too cute 😍
