Difficile pour Mag’ de faire une grasse matinée aujourd’hui avec tout le brouhaha dans et dehors de la chambre 😜 En effet, en plus de Gijs, Roxann et Laura qui préparent leur sac pour la suite de l’aventure, il y a un camion à béton qui se pointe à 7:00 à côté de notre cabine. Génial.
On dit rapidement au revoir aux 3 qui s’en vont vers 8:00 pour prendre leur shuttle puis on retourne pour une petite heure au lit sous nos couettes car il fait très frais dehors et plutôt moche dehors 😄
Vers 9:30, Mag’ et moi préparons le petit déjeuner pour nous 4 restants (nous avec Fleur et Aaron). Une platrée de légumes frais (aubergines, courgettes et tomates) dans une sauce tomate aux herbes italiennes (qu’on trimbale depuis le début de notre voyage 😅) avec oeufs au plat. Un régal !
Après quoi on retourne à la cabine pour du tri de photos pour Mag’ et du bricolage pour moi. En effet, j’ai proposé à Aaron de l’aider à recoudre une sangle de son sac à dos qui a pété. On fait ça jusqu’à 12:30 quand la faim menace. On va prendre notre lunch au Verde Cafe qui est absolument charmant car on peut manger dans un petit jardin très romantique.
Après un rapide détour par le supermarché, c’est de retour à la cabine pour continuer à ne rien faire 😋. Pendant ce temps, Fleur lit un message dans un groupe WhatsApp comme quoi un gars va de rendre avec sa voiture au début du trail demain vers midi. Serait-ce le pouce magique en action ? La conversation est très lente car le gars met 1000ans à répondre mais pour l’instant c’est prometteur.
Vers 19:30, on va préparer notre souper sur place au camping pour économiser un peu. C’est à ce moment-là qu’on reçoit une réponse comme quoi le gars avec la voiture n’aurait pas de place pour 3 personnes. On demande combien de personnes il peut prendre mais pas de réponse. Ça commence à devenir limite si on doit réserver la shuttle alors je nous fixe d’envoyer un message à la compagnie à 21:00. Chose que je fini par faire mais pas de réponse non plus ce soir 😬…
Difficult for Mag’ to sleep in today with all the mess going on in and outside the bedroom 😜 Indeed, in addition to Gijs, Roxann and Laura who are preparing their bag for the rest of the adventure, there is a concrete truck that shows up at 7:00 next to our cabin. Awesome.
We quickly say goodbye to the 3 who leave at around 8:00 to take their shuttle to start the next section. We then go back for an hour in our beds under our duvets because the weather is very cold and pretty shit outside 😄
At around 9:30, Mag’ and I prepare breakfast for the remaining 4 of us (us with Fleur and Aaron). A dish of fresh vegetables (eggplant, zucchini and tomatoes) in a tomato sauce with Italian herbs (which we have been carrying around since the beginning of our trip 😅) with fried eggs. A delight !
After which we go back to the cabin for photo sorting for Mag’ and DIY for me. Indeed, I offered to help Aaron sew up a strap on his backpack that broke. We do this until 12:30 when hunger threatens. We go have our lunch at the Verde Cafe which is absolutely charming because we can eat in a very romantic little garden.

Meanwhile, Fleur reads a message in a WhatsApp group that a guy is going to drive his car to the start of the trail tomorrow around noon. Could this be the magic thumb in action? The conversation is very slow because the guy takes 1000 years to answer but for now it’s promising.
At around 7:30 p.m., we prepare our dinner on site at the campsite to save some money. That’s when we get an answer from the guy with the car saying he doesn’t have room for 3 people. We ask how many people he can take but no answer. It’s starting to become short if we have to book the shuttle for tomorrow so we decide to send a message to the company at 9:00 p.m. if the guy for the hitch doesn’t answer. Something I end up doing but no answer form the company either tonight 😬…
