Après un peu de préparation de blog, on mange tous ensemble un délicieux petit déjeuner comme déjà fait précédemment avec du yogourt, granola et divers fruits frais pour remonter un peu nos niveaux de vitamines ^^.

Vers 12:00 on se met en route avec Gijs vers le centre thermal Hell’s Gate pour prendre un bain de boue chauffée grâce à la géothermie locale suivi par une baignade dans des bains d’eau au sulfure à 39C. On y reste 2h pendant lesquelles il se met à pleuvoir des cordes alors que nous sommes dans les bassins. C’est tellement plus agréable de subir ça en trempant dans un bain bien chaud plutôt qu’en marchant dans la boue au milieu d’une forêt 😄

Vers 16:00 on rejoint les autres à une sources d’eau chaude au milieu de la nature. Incroyable ! Nous nous baignons dans une rivière comme une autre sauf que son eau est à une température parfaite de 35C. Il est dur d’en sortir. D’autant plus que l’air n’est que de 18C avec un peu de vent. On y passe bien 1h aussi en dégustant quelques bières qu’on a eu la bonne idée d’amener (right Sean ?!).

On rentre enfin vers 18:30 avec un détour au supermarché pour que Mag’ et moi puissions préparer pour les autres un de nos plat favoris : un curry de pois chiches aux épinards sur son lit de patates douces. C’est un grand succès ! 🙂

Le titre du jour fait référence à une nouvelle expression prononcée par Mag’ malgré elle lors du repas. En voulant dire “It’s not a dick contest” – “ce n’est pas un concours de bite” – c’est “it’s not a dick conquest” qui sort 😂

After some work for the blog, we all eat together a delicious breakfast as we did before with yogurt, granola and various fresh fruits to boost our vitamin levels a little ^^.

Around 12:00 we set off with Gijs to the Hell’s Gate thermal center to take a mud bath heated by local geothermal energy followed by a swim in sulphide water baths at 39C. We stay there for 2 hours during which it starts to rain heavily while we are in the pools. It’s so much more pleasant to undergo this while soaking in a very hot bath rather than walking in the mud in the middle of a forest 😄

Around 4:00 p.m. we join the others at a hot spring in the middle of the nature. Unbelievable ! We swim in a river which looks like any other except that its water is at a perfect temperature of 35C. It’s hard to get out. Especially since the air is only 18C with a little wind. We spend a good 1 hour there too, drinking a few beers that we had the good idea to bring (right Sean?!).

We finally get back around 6:30 p.m. with a detour to the supermarket so that Mag’ and I can prepare one of our favorite dishes for the others: a chickpea curry with spinach on a bed of sweet potatoes. It’s a great success! 😊

The title of the day refers to a new expression pronounced by Mag’ by mistake during the meal. When she wanted to say “It’s not a dick contest”, it’s “it’s not a dick conquest” that came out 😂
